The wind was blowing the rain onto the stage and the band.
Here you can see the water drippin' off the back of Tim's cowboy hat.
I guess they should have brought their slickers!

Tim was very fortunate to be chosen to sing the songs that he composed and represent Alberta at the prestigous Smithsonian Folklife Festival in Washington, DC. June 29 - July 11, 2006

Performing in Washington with the humid temperature at 109 Degrees Fahrenheit

The Smithsonian Folklife Festival was held on the National Mall in Washington, DC, between the US Capital and the Washington Monument. In amongst the various museums and galleries filled with paintings by Van Gogh and Monet, the Wright brothers first airplane, Abraham Lincoln's hat, The Hope Diamond, and The Spirt of St. Louis, Tim Hus became a living cultural exhibit performing Canadian songs of the land and the people.

"Singin' in a honky-tonk,
workin' for the door...
And I'm haggard like
I've never been before"

-Merle Haggard
