SIX WEEKS ON THE ROAD WITH STOMPIN' TOM!
The shows are great...but what goes on behind the scenes on the Stompin' Tom tour?
Feasting on some of the finest lobsters the East coast has to offer
Sleeping... (fiddle players need to rest you know)
...Getting lost from time to time
Listening to stories as only Tom can tell them......
usually with a cigerette and a beer
Waiting around for soundcheck
telling jokes in the dressing room
Special Occasions:
Canada Post presenting Stompin' Tom with his own official postage stamp. A great honour for Tom and to put it in his own words:
"For those of you who don't like the look of my frontside...now you know what you can do with my backside!"
Special guests: a young fan having a stomp
Sitting down to sing a few slower songs
A genuine Vagabond rollin' through town:
Tim's father Helmut Hus hitch-hiked and rode freight trains all the way from his home in Nelson, BC to attend the concert in Sault Ste. Marie, ON
But the absolutely most IMPORTANT thing on the Stompin' Tom tour is playing croquet on the grass behind the motel!
Contemplating
Calculating
Lining up the shot...
...grand finale and The Victory Dance!
Stompin' Tom and Tim Hus
The most Canadian show in the country
The tour ends but the road goes on forever...
